Actual Hash Content -- This Week's Trail

Good day hashers!

The next Blooming Fools hash—the 12 Years and Counting Hash—will take place this Saturday, June 13, starting at 4 p.m. from the parking lot behind the Cyber Infrastructure Data Center on the IU campus. Your hare will be White Lightning, and it’s going to cost you $5 (still cheap!) unless you’re a first-timer, in which case it’s free. There will be beer, there will be trail, there will be shiggy, and there will be quality cheezy poofs. Dammit.

OK, to get to the start: The start is more or less on the north side of the Smith Research Park/old University School complex at the northeast corner of 10th and the Bypass. Here’s the Google map picture of the start location, but the picture’s so old it doesn’t show “University Road” connecting to “14th Street.” To get to the start, take the bypass to 10th Street, and go a little bit north on the bypass. Turn east into the UITS/Smith Research Park/old University School complex, and immediately turn left (north). The road curves off to the east. After you pass the playground, turn into the next parking lot, and look for hashers loitering about. Park. Hash. If you get lost, call 219-6566. Or 911.

ANNOUNCEMENT: The 12th or so Analversary will take place on August 7 and 8 in fabulous Gnawbone, Indiana. Cabins, trails, food, beer, cheezy poofs, more beer, more trails…put it down your calendar now! More info to come.
