What: Bloomingfools HHH Team Hash (with extra-special guest RHCP!)
Who: your hare will be Hot 'n Juicy
Where: North-end of the B-Line trail in Bloomington, IN
When: Saturday Oct. 17th at 4:00 hash time
How (much): usual pint of blood, or $5 (still cheap)
Why: Because there's no "I" in beer
Join with your fellow hashers in becoming a part of hashing history. What does it mean to you to say you're a Bloomingfools hasher? Who are the Bloomingfools Hash House Harriers? They are we, and we are proud to say that we hash this town. The Hash is not just one person, for who would be left to follow a lone hare's trail? Nor are we just a collection of individuals who happen to run for beer. We are a team. We are greater than the sum of our parts. We are what make the Bloomingfools happen. Along with welcome guests and questioning virgins, the magic of the hash comes together to answer that age-old question, "Where's the beer?" (perhaps followed closely by "Where's the trail?").
This team hash will be unlike any other hash (most of) you have been on. No competitive behavior is allowed, and there will be no FRBs or DFLs. Only as a team will the hash make it along the true trail and to the delicious beverage of your choice at the end.
This hash will also be special because of the return of a true pioneer - Red Hot Chili Pecker. He and White Lightning built the Bloomingfools hash way back in ...the early 1800s I think. In any case, I'm sure he'll have some great stories to tell, as always.
Start: The north end of the B-Line trail at 10th and Rogers. On the west side of Rogers is a small IU parking lot that should be free on the weekend (just don't park in the 24 hour tow zone). From 37 take Walnut south (or north) into town to 10th Street. Turn west to get to Rogers St. Park, hash, join hands in a circle and be merry.
