All those pencils, all those books, all those teachers’ dirty looks.
Yes, it’s that time of year again. Time to put away the sunscreen and swimsuits
and break out the book bags and lunch boxes. But before you start conjugating those verbs, finding those square roots, and contemplating that Longfellow, get your liver in shape for the coming school year by joining the BloomingFools for the Back To School Hash. We promise plenty of brain-teasing and skin-shredding trail, beer, a bit of orange food, beer, and school supplies lovingly packed by your doting Hare.
The cost for this lesson will be a mere $6 for Upperclassmen but FREE for Freshmen (cause we know they’re all virgins). Teachers pay double. All proceeds will support our Extra Curricular Activities. If we can’t be athletes, at least we can be athletic supporters.
Class will begin promptly at 4pm on Saturday, August 21 at the dead-end of West Hillside Drive, off of South Rogers Street. To get there, go south on Rogers Street from the intersection of Patterson/Grimes for about ¼ mile and turn left on
Hillside. Drive until you see hashers or hit a barrier. If either of those things
happen you should stop, have a beer, and hash. Note that you can’t get there by just driving west on East Hillside Drive. You’ll definitely hit a barrier before you see hashers if you try that.
Here’s a map if you need it:

Please bring your re-usable cup for down-downs. And your favorite school fight song.
Now everyone line up boy-girl, boy-girl and proceed in an orderly fashion to the Back To School Hash.
