On the first day of hashing, my true love gave to me…mistletoe? Who said mistletoe?
Yes, all you Rude-dolphs and Ho Ho Ho’s, it’s that time of year again…time for the 15th annual Blooming Fools Jingle Ball Hash, coming up on Saturday, December 10, starting at 2 pm from the Wells Shelter in Morgan-Monroe State Forest! Come out and celebrate the holidays with all the other Frosty-fappers on a trail so shiggified not even the Who’s down in Who-ville can get through it!
Your hares will be Biblio "Clarice” Sex, and White “Fireball” Lightning, and Mother “Yukon Cornelius” Shucker. The trail will cost you $15(!), while $20(!) will get you trail and entrée to the Jingle Ball Ball later that day at Blow Blow’s abode (RSVP for that here: http://www.facebook.com/events/134374686670943/ ).
The Jingle Ball Ball after the hash will include a potluck dinner, beer, more goodies, more beer, and the much-anticipated BFH3 white elephant gift exchange. We'll fill you in on the details as it gets closer, so look for it.
Hope you can join us for the festivities on December 10…it’ll put a sprig in your holly and a log in your stocking! (I’m not sure what that means either, but RSVP today!)
Directions: Take Walnut St. north past the bypass and down the big hill to the stoplight. Turn right at the stoplight onto Old St. Rd. 37. Take that road for about nine miles. You'll go past Musgrave Orchards, through the hopping town of Hindustan, past Bryant Creek Lake, and eventually you'll see the entrance to the forest on the right. Turn right into the forest, and take that road for a while until you come to the Wells Shelter on the right (parking is to the left). Wells Shelter is approximately at the intersection of Forest Road and Beanblossom Road. If that helps.
