Yo, BFH3 lords a-leaping and ladies dancing, shake your crumpet and join your fellow Blooming Fools on the evening of December 10 for the Blooming Fools Jingle Ball Ball, to be held at Chez Blow Blow Blow Your Goat on the east side of Bloomington following the Jingle Ball Hash. The cost of the Jingle Ball Ball is a mere $5 (if you go to the hash, we’ll take your money there), AND a white elephant gift for the 15th annual BFH3 white elephant gift exchange. We’re also soliciting desserts for the pitch-in dinner—please help make our hash table merry and bright! The entrée and sides will be another amazing production from Joint Masters and Hash Chefs Mothershucker and Bibliosex, so save room. (Put down those cheesy poofs or you won’t be hungry for dinner!)
What’s the BFH3 white elephant gift exchange, you ask? It’s easy: You bring a wrapped gift for a hasher – you take home a wrapped gift for a hasher. We don't want you to spend more than $10 on a gift, but there's no limit on what you can give -- mostly we want you to be creative! Think about what you’d want to give your fellow hashers, wrap it up, and bring it to the Jingle Ball Ball! (Preferably not part of your anatomy, please.)
Since the holidays are all about the getting, here’s what you’ll get if you attend the Jingle Ball Ball:
• Beer
• Food by Mothershucker and other BFH3 elves
• Grog
• White elephant gift from a hash Santa
• Shrub (it's a drink, not the shiggy)
• Visions of sugarplums (well, if you’re overserved enough)
• Tired (from wassailing among the leaves so green)
• More hashy gifts and goodness than you can stand in 12 days of hashing!
The Jingle Ball Ball will begin approximately whenever the hashers who’ve attended the Jingle Ball Hash earlier in the day have time to go home, take a shower, and get over to Blow Blow’s house (don’t worry, we won’t start the gift exchange without you). For those who may not be able to make the hash, the Jingle Ball Ball will hopefully start by around 6:00pm. Text 812-219-6566 if you’re coming to make sure we’re there yet.
Directions: Blow Blow Blow Your Goat lives at 1294 S. Barnes Drive in Bloomington. To get there, turn your sleigh east on Third Street past College Mall to 446. Turn right, and head (wsh?) south on 446 to the Gentry East development on the left (it’s about half a mile south of Third Street). Turn left into Gentry East (onto Compton Boulevard), and take the second right onto Barnes Drive. Blow Blow’s house is at the end of the street on the right.
